简介:

After graduating from Oxford University with a BA in Law, and an MSc in Criminal Justice I worked in South Korea for 4 years, rising to become Vice-Director of my Hagwon. I was charged with recruitment of foreign teachers, scheduling, curriculum design, and communications with parents regarding SAT and College Entry. I moved to China after that and worked for a wealth management company, Univisa, creating a unique teaching program, involving home stays with foreign teachers for their high net worth clients. I believe my success in both these roles can be explained by how both former companies now collaborate with my current company, InterlinkUK on our overseas study programs due to the personal relationships I formed when working there.

After setting up the program for Univisa I moved to Suzhou, working as a homeroom teacher and college advisor at Suzhou North America High School. Although this was a step down career wise I absolutely loved my time with my homeroom students, getting to know their parents, and guiding their college university applications. This experience was greatly rewarding, and I served as the bridge between the Academic Principal and the College Application Department’s Chinese staff, helping
[BJ1] to ensure a balance was kept between academic needs and the importance of college applications. I believe that I learned a lot in this role that I would be able to apply to this job.

For the past two years I have worked as Operations Director for InterlinkUK, a UK based company, which I am a shareholder of. Here I organize summer schools for undergraduate students in the UK, as well as ACCA professional training for accountants. This has involved working with professors from Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial College University London. I greatly enjoy this role, however, I have now set things up in a way that make it suitable for me to sit back as a shareholder, and allow others to operate the company day-to-day as I am always seeking a new challenge.
